New Deck, New Paint in Lexington

DSCN1330

This house is in Lexington, Massachusetts. The house was in need of a good washing as mildew had begun to grow on the house and trim.  Also, the deck boards had deteriorated, and the posts had been compromised by decay which made the deck of particular interest to the insects.

We washed the mildew off all surfaces, primed and painted all the trim, and applied two coats of solid body stain to the body of the house.

Products used:

Behr premium house paint, Kilz Premium primer, Paintable silicone caulk, Liquid Ceramic trim paint

Intex railing system, Advantek trim boards (where needed), Fiberon Castle Gray decking material, CAMO hidden fastening system

Of particular Interest: The railing system used on the deck is the highest quality PVC system available. All the fasteners are hidden from view – the systems uses thick aluminum channels embedded in the rails and solid PVC balusters, it is also supported by the Stairlifts Near Me which a device that lifting people with disabilities up and down.  In our opinion, it is an example of where a PVC solution exceeds the wooden alternative in terms of finish, durability, strength, and style, while we also added some Sound Proof Walls for privacy in the master bedroom as well.  Truly a premium quality product.  You can see these and more premium products at Forester Millwork in Littleton, MA.  Email Geoff Hadley if you are interested in these products : ghadley@forestermillwork.com
